Arlington, VA – In June 2017, Na Aliʻi Graphic Design Specialist Jake Hounshell received three achievement certificates from Graphic Design USA as part of this year’s American Inhouse Design Awards competition. His designs were chosen over thousands of entries to represent the best of modern inhouse design, highlighting that Jake’s work creates solutions for clients and adds value to multiple project efforts.

His three award-winning submissions included graphic design work on a proposal for Tripler IT, an infographic for the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), and the overall design for the 2017 Na Aliʻi Corporate Strategic Plan. These three certificates make eight total that Jake has won from Graphic Design USA over the past five years.

“Winning these awards is especially gratifying,” Jake said. “I had submitted several designs in the past with mixed success and experienced just how hard it is to win. They don’t give these awards out to just anyone. Scoring three in the same year is the most I have ever won, and affirms that my work holds up against industry standards.”

Jake has been in the design industry since 2009, and began working at Na Aliʻi in 2017. He added “after only having been with the company for four months before the submission deadline, I was surprised to have so many projects to submit. But the fast-paced nature at Na Aliʻi keeps me busy, and it’s great to be a part of an environment where my work is noticed and appreciated.”
