Honolulu, HI – Na Aliʻi was awarded an $8.6M competitive Firm Fixed Priced contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to manage recovery of Munitions and Explosives of Concern at the Former Waikoloa Maneuver Area on the island of Hawaii. Our team will safely locate, identify, recover, evaluate, assess, package, transport, manage, and make final disposition of Munitions and Explosives of Concern, and incidental Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste.
“Na Aliʻi is proud to undertake this project as a joint venture with the Engineering/Remediation Resources Group. We will continue to identify, remove, and dispose of various types of explosive ordinances and munitions which have been found at Waikoloa since the U.S. Navy used the site as a military training camp and artillery range from 1943 to 1945. Na Aliʻi is pleased to support the ongoing environmental cleanup of this beautiful part of Hawaii.” – Cariann Ah Loo, Na Aliʻi President
