Arlington, VA – Na Aliʻi Graphic Design Specialist Jake Hounshell received four achievement certificates from Graphic Design USA as part of this year’s American Inhouse Design Awards competition. His designs were selected from a field of over 6000 submissions to represent the best in inhouse graphic design. These awards, which follow the three GDUSA Awards that Jake won in 2017, demonstrate how key an asset that Jake is to Na Ali’i and the services we provide to our clients.

His four award-winning submissions included his design of the Nakapuna Foundation Community Giving Strategy Guide, the wall graphic in our recently-opened Mechanicsburg office, graphic design work on a proposal for Defense Information Systems Agency, and the design of an informational guide on the economic conditions of Native Hawaiians for the Native Hawaiian Organizations Association.

“In the past, I have had mixed success at the GDUSA awards, so I’ve learned just how tough the competition can be,” said Jake. “It’s really validating to know that the work I do here at Na Aliʻi stands out among my peers.”

Jake has worked in the design industry since 2009 and began working at Na Aliʻi in 2017.
